I found myself taking pictures of the night sky with the old lens and just wanted a closer shot of things so I bought the 75-300. I now have great shots of the moon and some constellations. I'll probably buy another lens in the future since this purchase has really opened my eyes to just what you can do with a variety of lenses. Also a great lens for amateur birdwatching and sporting events. Took it out to Dodger Stadium and got some great shots. Rating: 5 / 5 I do not have most to say.
