The Fujifilm FinePix HS10 is a new super-zoom digital compact camera with a long list of headline-grabbing features. Looking and handling like a DSLR, the bridge-style Fujifilm HS10 is one of only two digital cameras in the world to boast a 30x zoom lens. The Fujifilm FinePix HS10 looks like the ultimate bridge camera, given its wide-angle lens with a manual 30x zoom; large tilting LCD and an electronic viewfinder.

The key features of this product are, 10.3 megapixels, 3.0-inch, Approx. 230,000 dots, color LCD monitor, Approx. 97% coverage, True wide-angle and extreme telephoto capture in a single compact unit, Full HD (1080p) movie capture with stereo sound, Advanced capture modes including unique Motion Remover mode that removes tourists and other moving objects from your photographs, RAW and JPEG capture modes.

Sony the largest producer of electronic goods in the world has just announced a new Super 35mm equivalent CMOS HD Camcorder for high-end digital cinema production that uses the “E-mount” lens system: the “NXCAM” series, and plans to commercialize it in the first half of 2011. E-Mount lenses can easily be fitted to the camcorder.

It’s a “For Professional” camera that uses E-mount lenses and has a Super-35-sized CMOS sensor. This “NXCAM” HD camcorder under development will be equipped with a Super-35mm equivalent sensor, a widely used film stock size in the film industry that is perfectly designed for capturing motion picture. This new sensor will have extraordinary performance in terms of picture quality and sensitivity.

With an 18 Megapixel APS-C sensor, the EOS 60D offers high levels of detail and a magnification of 1.6x the focal length of the lens to capture poster-size images in a variety of aspect ratios*1. Canon’s powerful DIGIC 4 technology rapidly processes image information captured from the CMOS sensor’s four-channel output.

The EOS 60D features Canon’s iFCL metering system, first introduced with the acclaimed EOS 7D, with a 63-zone Dual-Layer sensor. Information on subject location is gathered from the Auto Focus system, and is combined with colour and luminance readings for consistent accurate exposures whatever the situation.

A new 7.7cm (3.0″) Vari-angle wide LCD monitor features a 3:2 aspect ratio and a 1,040k dot resolution, providing added flexibil and can be positioned with Live View enabled to achieve the desired composition if shooting isn’t possible using the viewfinder.
